The video-installation „Landscape 2022“ shows the port of Odesa. The analog photo was made in summer 2019 when the artist visited Odessa for the last time. In 2022 Odesa port, where the huge barges with wheat are located, was attacked. The minimalistic video-installation is the opposite of a landscape of burnt wood. Ukraine is one of the largest timber exporters. Since the beginning of the war in 2014, vast areas of Ukrainian lands and forests have been destroyed. Tetiana compares the landscape both from the past and present, nostalgic about the fact that some places in their original form exist only as memories.
